Re: happy hollidays - jingle bells a capella

Hi Rockflop, you have a great natural sounding voice and captured it very well indeed.

I would like to hear you sing "the lion sleeps tonite" or old doo-wop from the sixties. The possibilities are endless!

Another choice would be "Pata Pata" by Miriam Makeba

Great songs!

Re: my mt daw tracks

Sorry I did not notice the spelling of Skwalk and spelled it as Skywalk. Thanks for having a listen to my track, I love those warbling crying synth sounds you mentioned. I had a listen to Penultimater and really liked the use of the understated drums at 2:27 and later the full assault at 3:28. I am ...

Re: my mt daw tracks

Skywalk is a very well thought out track, it never sounds cluttered or meandering. This track is really well arranged and recorded and this needs to be listened to through a very good pair of headphones to be appreciated.I love that bass sound in particular, very menacing. I have been exploring simil...

Re: a recording using tons of instruments

Wow! very well done, I really liked the bazuki and violin and the middle eastern scales. The only thing missing is Robert Plant's voice!

I liked this a lot.

Re: My first Multitrack Daw song

The mic I used is an IRIG Cast meant mainly for podcasts. As the old recording saying goes "the best mic is the one you have!" I found it to be only slightly better than the built-in mic and hope to get the Blue spark digital in the near future and the Apogee mic in the distant future. I will try so...

Re: My first Multitrack Daw song

Hi Wherewithal, thanx for the insights and words of encouragement. The vocals got a litttle difficult to manage as there was a mix of dry and wet on many tracks, as well as manual de-essing which made it very challenging to do exactly what I wanted to do. Yes, spot-on about Trans, as I am a huge fan...
