Re: Samsung Galaxy Tab A

Yeah about android. Google just can't get it's shit together when it comes to audio, the latency is really bad on most devices. Also development on android is several orders of magnitude harder to do because of the number of different devices. Eventually it may happen, but currently audio on mobile ...

Re: Failure to Mixdown

Hi chuckpuckett Usually this is because a loop region is selected somewhere in the song. Try zooming fully out and scroll around to check for a vertical blue region with a circle at the top. If you see one, tap the ruler at the top and drag left to kill the loop markers. MultiTrack was changed to on...

Re: Suggested new features.

Welcome camaney, Actually after all this time there is hope on the horizon =) The patents on the encumbered mp3 format are set to expire, and we can maybe just start using it without fear of the patent trolls. There's still some debate on exactly when the remaining patent becomes fully public domain...

Re: MultiTrack DAW 4.3

Currently tracking 2 minor bugs: 1. On the iPhone plus models (6+, 6S+, 7+) when 'Display Zoom' is ON in the Settings App, the display is zoomed in multitrack too much and unusable. The workaround currently is to disable Display Zoom in (Settings App -> Display & Brightness -> Display Zoom -> Standa...

Re: Import audio from MP4 file

Hi Frank, Ah, it does look like I added some code to check for valid file extensions that wasn't there before. The current list is: "wav", "wave", "m4a", "m4p", "mp3", "aac", "aif", "aiff", "aifc", "cdda", "3gp", "3gpp", "sdv", "caf", "amr", "ogg" I'll update the list with the video formats, but in ...

MultiTrack DAW 4.3

MultiTrack 4.3 is now available on the App Store! - New preamp gain knob, controls how much signal is sent to the IAA effects chain for each track. - Effect Knob drag types (horizontal, vertical, or both). Initial setting is automatic (if you drag vertically, option will be set to vertical). Can be ...

Re: Meter

Thanks for the suggestion. As it is now, the meters are peaking logrithmic and will always clip the bitspace when the red is reached, on a peak. So it's more of a visual indicator of clipping, since the final mix is normalized. So it's ok to go into the red on tracks, but the output mete going into ...

Re: Add scales to EQ graph?

Great suggestion! That meter really should have those logarithmic lines for reference. Thanks for the kind words!

Re: Loop / Repeat regions?

Hi Dazzaxjr, It's a great suggestion, originally the reason it didn't have easier looping had to do with a really technical boring answer :) involving caches. But I really should look into this again. It seems to be a common pattern of pasting a loop and needing to simply drag a loop handle to repea...

Re: NEWBIE! How to record keyboard onto iPhone app

Hi JayBird,

It depends on the keyboard but usually you'll need an audio interface then you can just plug the audio outputs of the keyboard into the interface. Take a look at some examples here: http://www.harmonicdog.com/inputoptions/
