Unfortunately multitrack doesn't have support for mid-side format.

Sorry for the late response. I hope you're still around! You can do mid-side processing easily in DAW with the Kymatica AUM app:

1. In AUM, add a new config with the big "+" button.
2. On the new screen, hit the top "+" button, select "Inter-App Audio" > select DAW > select the track with the raw side signal.
(It should now show "sending" in the DAW app)
3. Hit the middle "+" button, select Stereo Processing > Invert Phase (not mid side, or you won't have the ability to mix the side signal in and out later)
4. In the "L R" box that now appears to the left of the button (which now reads "INV"), de-select either the L side or the R side with the phase symbol so that one side or the other is greyed out. It doesn't matter which side, but you must select one, not zero, and not both.
5. On the output source on the bottom "+" (which might show the internal speaker icon instead of the "+"), select "IAA/Audiobus output" > IAA/AB Output1 (doesn't matter which one)
6. In DAW, add an empty track, select "In" > Inter-App Audio instruments > Kymatica > Kymatica: AUM (Port 1)
Arm the track.
7. Hit play and let it record through to the end.
8. Mute your original raw track. Play back and enjoy your new processed, mid-side recording (and fade your new processed side track in and out for more or less stereo width!)

Works like a charm!
