Hi all,

I'm new to the forums so I thought I'd share my mtdaw tracks:

https://soundcloud.com/gosmo-kefree

All recorded on Multitrack DAW on my iPhone5. Most instruments are exported out of Garageband. There's a bit of midi-synth, some dm1 drums, some Figure, some live guitar using Garageband's amp selection and a smattering of ambient sounds recorded with the phone's mic (sometimes piped through jamup).

I've been trying to post higher quality versions but mtdaw isn't currently letting me!

Anyway, thanks for listening!

Skywalk is a very well thought out track, it never sounds cluttered or meandering. This track is really well arranged and recorded and this needs to be listened to through a very good pair of headphones to be appreciated.I love that bass sound in particular, very menacing.

I have been exploring similar sounds in addition to standard guitar/piano/vocal recordings and find a lot of the apps available that can be used with Audiobus into MT DAW very inspiring.

I will give your other tracks a listen and chime back in.

Great stuff!

Thanks very much Ischemica, glad you enjoyed it!

Skwalk is one I just couldn't get anywhere with for a long time, then after a hiatus and tinkering with other tracks, it all just came together in about a week! Thanks for your comments mate, very much appreciated.

I just gave Robot Break Up a listen - lots of interesting stuff going on there! I particularly like the strange pitch trembling you've got in the middle of the track.. very sinister! Good stuff dude :)

Sorry I did not notice the spelling of Skwalk and spelled it as Skywalk.

Thanks for having a listen to my track, I love those warbling crying synth sounds you mentioned.

I had a listen to Penultimater and really liked the use of the understated drums at 2:27 and later the full assault at 3:28.

I am hoping Pwnified is going to integrate volume automation in the near future as I have a habit of using one track for drums all at the same volume. I know there are work-arounds, but I prefer to set it and forget it.

So overall another well constructed moody piece with lots of changing dynamics and variations of sounds to hold the listeners interest.

Cheers
