Upgrade to 24 tracks question

If I upgrade from 8 to 24 tracks, will my current work be safe?

Will my old 2g iphone (16 gig) cope with upgrading to 16 or 24 tracks without stuttering etc?

This app is great on 8 tracks so I don't want to ruin an already brilliant app if my phone can't cope!

Yes, 24 tracks and the current features work with the 2G (1st gen). However, some of the new features to be released like parametric EQ and Compressor will only be available on the 3rd gen or later devices (3GS iPhone or later).
