Track groups & copy/paste request

Now that I’m trying to do everything in MTD, 2 more tedious time killers have surfaced: (1) not being able to group tracks to solo/mute/fx them together; (2) having to clear space to paste a copied region (ie it would be better to be able to paste on the cursor whether there’s audio there or not, an...

Time-saving 3 wishes

1. Saving FX settings as presets
2. Return to 0 on all knobs and sliders with a double click
3. Multi-region copy and paste option (ie, choose between bounce regions as it currently does vs replicate all regions)

Re: How to turn a raw into a regular Stereo Mid-Side Recording using the iphone version of the Multitrack DAW?

Sorry for the late response. I hope you're still around! You can do mid-side processing easily in DAW with the Kymatica AUM app: 1. In AUM, add a new config with the big "+" button. 2. On the new screen, hit the top "+" button, select "Inter-App Audio" > select DAW > se...

Re: "solo" more than one track

Any news on when the next update is? If I had to pick one feature for the update, it would be the ability to solo more than one track at a time. If for design and efficiency reasons it could only be one or two additional tracks to solo (which I think you eluded to in an earlier post), this would be ...

Re: "solo" more than one track

A bit late to respond to this post, but I just discovered MTD this year. 2 or 3 extra solo tracks would make a huge difference, if you ask me. Good read on the post above overviewing the performance uniqueness of MTD. I appreciate your passion and your product, and I agree with the above poster. The...

Re: Bring the track count up to 48 or 64

That would definitely be a workaround, but tracks start to crowd the precious screen real estate too quickly (plus you'd need track groups to apply the same effects chain, etc). I'd really love to see volume (and pan) on regions in the same track.

Re: Multitrack units with iphone 6?

Got a new one for the original poster in case he's still interested: the Zoom H6 can feed 6 tracks at once into MTD. Caveat: depending on how much battery is left on the H6, sometimes it will only work in mixdown-stereo mode (where it takes the 6 tracks and mixes them into a left/right stereo signal...

Re: New Possible Future Feautures

+1 on the following requests: - moving regions freely from track to track - major timesaver vs. copying / pasting / deleting - ability to lower or raise volume on a region (not the same as a curve, unless the curve could be manipulated into a straight line that can be raised or lowered in the region...
