Monitor before punch in to the same track?

Hi, I am recording on one track, I want to punch in and re-record a section, but I can’t hear playback leading up to the punch in point. WHat am I doing wrong? or is this not possible. Thanks!

You should be able to use the 'Auto Input' option in the menu for exactly this. Give it a shot!
