Is it possible to record on audio input? I have a guitarjack model2 and would like some hands free option also, I know about punching in, but would still like a record on input option..

Can you explain the process of how this should work? There could be dozens of ways to do what you are saying.

In the track header next to the arm record button, another button to record on input. Press record button on transport, but instead of pressing play to record MTDaw monitors input on track & records automatically on receiving a signal.
