Lo-Fi Indie Rock

Post by Nicknada »

Here's a few songs I recorded in my garage using HD MultiTrack for iPad 2 + Griffin iMic + Behringer Xenyx 1202FX mixer. I was going for an early 90's Merge / Matador / Superchunk indie rock sort of thing. Comments appreciated!

Wow, you really got a live feel. Gritty, raw and very danceable. Nice guitar work and you guys are very tight on the vocals, which are wonderful.
If you want critique, I can only say don't be afraid to let the vocals sit on top of the mix just a little more, and it wouldn't hurt to add just a smidge of "small" room ambience.
I can't say enough about how tight you guys are. Best of luck.
