can record only one track at a time

Post by gutlo »

Hi guys and girls,

I have the 8 track version. When I arm one track and then try to arm another, the first track becomes un-armed as soon as the second track is armed.

How can I arm more than one track?

Welcome gutlo,
Try using the '>>>IN' button (next to the Arm button) to select a different input channel from your audio interface. As long as each track has it's own input channel, you can arm the tracks simultaneously.

I read the solution posted. I'm using an IO Doc, which I run the mixing board to. The board has multi microphones plugged into it, but the stereo Lines out to the IO Doc are the only inputs, so there are not separate mikes going to the I Pad, It doesn't look like I can arm multi tracks to record at the same time.
