AU-Synths: can’t be played by ext. MIDI-controller

Post by gsax »

first, thank you so much for Multitrack DAW!
it makes it so easy(!) to work with a DAW even on a small screen like iphone’s 👌🙏👏
QUESTION: yes, i can play AU-Synths using the AU-Synth’s integrated keyboard, BUT not with an external controller like my EWI windctrl (or a keyboard) within MTDAW.
Any chance you will update this in your app too?
(for the moment i use AUM to do the job, but i would prefer to use MTDAW, as i use it for my Audio-work too.)
thx!

Thanks! I'm going to look into it, thanks for the feature request. Depending on the plugin, it might be possible to use the plugins midi mapping or external controllers feature if it has that.

great @ thx! for instance: iOS-synth plugins often used are Moog D, Moog 15 or Animoog (new one: Animoog Z) aside others like Zeeon or Kauldron which all can be controlled fine by external midi-controllers like keyboard or windcontroller. looking forward 😊🙏
