Help using 2mics for single stereo channel

I am having trouble figuring out how to use 2 stereo mics to record a single stereo track (piano track). Does anyone have experience using two mics for simultaneous recording into one track? If so, what hardware are you using? Can you give step by step instructions on how to set this up? Thanks!

It mostly depends on what type of device you have iPad, iPod, iPhone, and also the model (4th gen or later uses different devices for the doc). iPod 4th gen has no stereo options at this time. iPad can use all the USB options (look in the input options thread)
