Hi guys,
I've just bought MultiTrack DAW cause I was looking for a recording app which lets me use the iPad's Camera Connection Kit to connect a USB device.
In my case, this device is a synth/keyboard, the Roland Juno-Di. I previously changed my keyboard's USB driver into "generic", so that I don't need any driver.
But it seems that the input sound arrives by the internal mic, because of the larsen effect when I pass my finger over it.
How can I drive my synth's sound to the USB port ?
Thank you very much!

Can the keyboard function as a general class-compliant USB 1.0 audio device?

Yes, I guess so, because it has a USB port. I have the corresponding cable to connect it to any USB port, for example on a computer. It's a standard cable because I already had it within another device before buying the synth, so there shouldn't be any problem...

Re: Connect synth/keyboard via USB Camera Connection Kit
Well, it's easy to tell if a device is going to work, simply plug it in and try it. The iOS will either detect it as a class-compliant usb audio device, or it won't. However, if it works with the iPod app on the iPad, it doesn't mean it will work with MultiTrack, because Multitrack is slightly more restrictive (it requires a sample rate of 44100 and 16 bit width). Most audio devices can handle this format because it's very common, but there has been an instance where this is not the case.

Well I don't understand very much "Computer Assisted Music" (I'm French, I don't know the english term) XD
So to be clear, you think there's no way to make my keyboard work with MultiTrack? Am I right?
Thank you very much for your help!

Well it's very common to bump a thread when nobody still hasn't answered you. I home someday someone will find a solution to my problem, and keep bumping the topic because I don't want it to be unresolved
Cheers
