Record Stereo with iPad or iPhone 4??
Has anyone come up with a way to get a stereo signal into an iPad or iphone 4 running 4.2.1 that doesn't entail a AC line powered hub or input device? Battery power would be ok. I'm trying to record instruments played on an iPad into Multitrack on the iPhone 4 in a portable configuration. I can do this in mono with iRig but I was hopping for a stereo solution.

I'll tell you my iPad-to-iPad solution, and maybe that will spur something:
I use my Cakewalk USB connector (forget the exact name, you can search on a music gear site and find it) with the camera connection kit/USB, then plug my other iPad into that.
So going that route, if you want to use your iPhone4 as your "instrument," you can go line in to your iPad using that method.

The iPhone 4 has no analog inputs on the 30pin connector. Six Studio Digital, who make the iAudioInterface announced sometime back that they would be making an interface for the iPhone4, which presumably will incorporate external A/D D/A conversion, but there's no sign of the actual product yet.
