Where is this .wav file? Is it on your device or your computer?

Re: How can I paste a wavw file on a track?
There's a couple ways. If it's in your iPod Library you can use the Bin Browser 'iPod' tab to copy the wav to the pasteboard (upgrade to MultiTrack 3.0 because it has a fix for Apples broken wav export from the iPod library). Or iOS 4.3 might have fixed this.
Once it's copied to the pasteboard, use the Hotbox to paste it onto a track.
Other ways include using iTunes File Sharing on you computer to drop files into the Shared folder:

then using the Bin Browser 'Shared' tab to copy them to the pasteboard.
Or uploading the wav directly into a song: http://forum.harmonicdog.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4
Finally you can open email attachments with iOS3.2 or later in multiTrack and copy them to the pasteboard, but size restrictions apply especially with wav files.
