Alesis I/O Dock is Shipping

Sweetwater alerted me this morning that the Alesis I/O Dock for iPad is available. I ordered one for $199 and it shipped today. There is no battery power, just AC.

I purchased an Alesis I/O dock last weekend. So far its great. I tried using it with GB for ipad, but of course GB doesn't allow recording two tracks at the same time. I searched and found MultiTrack and the combination of MultiTrack and the Alesis is perfect for me.

I've done several recordings of voice and acoustic guitar and the recording quality is excellent. I'm using the dock with an iPad 1 with 16GB of RAM and haven't had any issues.

For the price the Alesis is a pretty good way for one or two people to get songs down.
