Cheap 5-in-1 CCK

Does anyone know how well the cheaper 5-in-1 Camera Connection Kits work? Like the chinese ones.... both with Multitrack and with iOS 5.0.1 in general? if so, can someone post a link to one? preferably if you have one, give me a link to where you got it, rather than someone not having one and giving me a link (I just want a reliable seller)

They work fine for now, to be honest the reason I got it is that I thought it might be able to run the USB input while the device is in host mode, for debugging audio devices. As it is now, USB devices cannot be connected while debugging. Alas, it didn't work for my purposes, but it does work as a generic USB camera connection kit for connecting audio interfaces. (I've confirmed a/v out and micro sd slots also work). I'm not sure about the legality of it, but I would guess that apple really hates them)

I have something similar... hoped it would power the iPad whilst using a USB audio input... it does not seem to, by way of an error message popup about charging not being supported... any luck with yours?

The sync port works to charge the ipad, but the instant the audio interface is plugged in, charging stops.

Can anyone give me a link to one? I see them everywhere but I would like a good seller just to prevent possibly bad hardware and good customer service just in case

I was just wondering the same thing...
I got an iPad 2 for Christmas, and was wondering if it was possible to charge while recording via a USB audio device. Sad to hear that it won't work...
