Digidesign 002 rack and MT?

Has anyone tried plugging an old 002 rack into mt yet and if so did it work? With the abundance of people now almost throwin out their old 002's for new 003's I figured if it works it could be an ideal interface for recording live gigs from a bus out on the board.

Digidesign 002 rack is a firewire device.
