deleting large areas at the beginnning

Post by murphy2138 »

Is there a way that I can move all of my tracks up to the beginning without having to manually move each one? I have about 13 seconds at the beginning of silence that I need to delete. It would be too tedious to move all of them since I have a lot of split tracks and re-aligning them would be time consuming. I need one fell swoop kind of deal that can move them all at the same time to the beginning of the song.

The only way I know is to tap on every region in a track rail so they're all highlighted. Once they're all highlighted, you can slide them all together to wherever you'd like the track rail to begin playing. The spacing of regions within the track rail stays the same as when you started. I think you may have to do one track at a time, but I'm not sure.

Yes you can simply select all regions on all tracks, and open the Hotbox on one of them and select "Move". They will maintain sample accurate timing relationships.
