iPhone playback volume low

Post by Jpeek345 »

Hi,

I have learned more about the above problem on Google when using "iPhone recording playback volume low" in Google.
My recently reformatted iPhone 4 "seems to be"
confused.
It is playing back HarmonicDog audio through the internal
speaker (headphone jack) and not the iPhone external speakers

This is all with no headphone or extra external mic having
been used.

Just the plain iPhone.

It is also doing the same with another voice recording app but not
With MTSR multi-track recording iPhone app.

I am messing about with different recorder apps because the
Blu FiRE app has the best sound recording for my tastes and has
heretofore been yanked from the Apple app store indefinitely.

I don't know why.

Their paid version remains but is pallid to non-existant in support.

This support forum appears to be exemplary. Kudos. Heh.

Anybody have a similiar situation or have any advice?

Thank-you.

Sincerely,

hand held HarmonicDog harbinger,

iPhone playback running out of ear speaker

Post by Jpeek345 »

Hi,

Is their a setting I have tripped or overlooked
in this sophisticated little multitrack program?

My playback in my iPhone 4 is running out of the
internal speaker- or somewhere other than the main
external speakers. It is very low compared to tests on other
recording apps I have on the same iPhone.

I have ios5.1.1.1.

Thank-you.

Sincerely,

In the Menu of MultiTrack there is an extra option just for the iPhone, "Speaker Out". Turning it on will route all audio to the speaker instead of the earpiece. But make sure to turn it off when finished or when plugging in an external mic/interface, or it will override the external interface and switch audio back to the speaker. The option is off by default for this reason.
