Hi all,
Is there any way to import garageband track without email to myself and PC? I know garageband can export every track to itunes in AIF file, which is uncompressed, and it need PC to transfer those track back to DAW. So anyone know how it works without PC?
I don't want to use email option because it only can email 192 kbps m4a files, which is lossy audio.
besides, Is there any function for DAW that can duplicate the track? When I was recording the guitar, and I use the compressor effect in DAW, and I want to duplicate the exact same track with the same effect, so that I can doing different pan for both two tracks.
Thanks
Lai

I think garageband supports copy/paste?
As far as duplicated a track, you can select all the regions in the track, touch-hold over one of them and select "Copy" from the Hotbox that pops up. Now create a new track and Hotbox Paste. You should turn on "Snap" in the menu, and snap the start of the first region to a grid line (if it's not already) before copying. Then you can snap the pasted regions to the same grid line and they will be perfectly aligned (sample accurate).
