iOS7 Problem

I have been using my iphone to do some very simple home recordings using the internal mic on the phone itself and really like the results. So, after updating my iPhone 4S to the new iOS 7 operating system, my input monitor has stopped working. I get no signal into the phone regardless of whether I turn on the input monitor or the auto input. Any thoughts?
