Playback of split-tracks...

Hey everybody!
I use split-track accompaniment cds(vocals/instrumental) sometimes with a children's choir I direct. Does anyone know if this DAW app will allow you to import a split track from ITunes, and then on playback only use the left or right audio channel? If anyone knows if this will work, pleas let me know. Thanks!

This should work fine. After you import your stereo wavefile then just pan left or right to listen to the channel you want. The output wil only be coming out one speaker though.

If you want the output through both speakers then:
-pan the track
-Copy it
-paste it into an existing mono track. It will convert to mono on import

I've done this successfully in the distant past. But more recently when I try this, I can successfully do this with the left side, but when I do the right side, it always comes up completely empty. Has anyone else seen this, or would anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Thanks

Also, I should point out, I need to engage record on the track in which I'm going to dump the sound for this to work.

I've just confirmed that there is a bug with this "Hidden Feature", it'll be fixed. It seems it's only working for left panned tracks.
