iPhone 5S can't encode m4a

Just got my iphone 5s 64gig with the ios7.2 software. I always had DAW but now when I try to send something from the app m4a by email, the m4a icon is not in there anymore. It's only giving me a wav or ogg option to send! Without the m4a option, this DAW is virtually USELESS to me. I even erased the app and re-downloaded it and it's still not giving me an m4a option at all. What do I do?? Why did DAW take that option out?? Somebody PLEASE help!

I've confirmed that the iPhone 5S doesn't have a hardware AAC encoder anymore. Apple probably decided to take it out because the CPU is fast enough to do it in software. I'll have to update the app to do m4a encoding in software. Apologies, it'll be in the next update.

This is the same for the iPad Air which I've recently upgraded to. I would really appreciate the return of m4a exporting! I'll await the next update.

AudioShare is a good intermediary while we await the update.

I've been exporting my MultiTrack work to AudioShare via AudioCopy and paste, converting to m4a (which AudioShare literally does in 2 seconds), then emailing the work from there. Works a treat!
