copy track from another device

Is there a way to copy/import a track from another device, keeping the region and pointers?

If I download the bin from one device using wifi, then upload the bin using wifi, how do I get the bin to start at the same point in time that it was on the original device?

We are using this to add tracks on different devices. For example, I download the project zip file, give it to the singer, he uploads the project zip on his ipad, adds vocal tracks. the key is that he is adding them as multiple punch-ins on a track, so it is not one continuous track that starts at the beginning.
