Hey folks,
My battery died while I was recording a track on my iPad. When I turned the iPad back on (after charging), the new track was empty. I was wondering if there is any way to recover a track after an unexpected shutdown like that.
Thanks,
Christopher

Re: iPad died during recording
After a failure like this, the wav file probably didn't get the header correctly written (the header contains information such as file length, etc). So probably what happened is multitrack found the incomplete file, and noticed that it wasn't part of the song, also noticed that it had a bad header, and repaired it, and placed it in the Shared Documents folder. So look in the iTunes File Sharing folder for multitrack and you should find any repaired files. The Shared Documents folder is also available in multitrack (touch-hold over track, select 'Audio' from the Hotbox, 'Shared' tab.) if it's there, you can copy/paste it back onto a track.
