Re: Korg Gadget
If it loads up with IAA, it should be able to synchronize tempo and start/stop of the transport at the very least. As a host, MultiTrack is providing all the data possible to the plugins, including meter and bar/beat information and loop start and end points. But I'm not sure if Korg is using this information provided. Let us know what features you get working.

Re: Korg Gadget
I use the Korg gadget app to do drums, bass, and keys. I then go to export and export each gadget track separately to an app called audioshare(highly recommend it) from there you can import it into daw. And just make sure that the tempo for daw is set to the same as your gadget tracks were set and it will line up perfectly with no work and you can start adding real instruments
