Enabling simultaneous tracks

Post by Cichlidator »

Hi

I am wanting to make recordings of band rehearsals with several simultaneous tracks running through my Scarlett 18i8

I am having trouble arming several tracks at the same time. After fiddling about a bit I managed to arm two stereo tracks at the same time but no more. When I tried again I could not arm more than one track to record at a time.

As I said I am using a focus rite Scarlett 18i8 recording onto an iPad mini 2 using a genuine Apple sub to lightning kit.

Help please!

Hi Chchlidator,

You'll need to use the '>>>IN' button on each track you want armed, and set it to a unique channel on your interface. For example set Track 1 to 'Scarlett 1, 2' and Track 2 to 'Scarlett 3, 4' and Track 3 to 'Scarlett 5, 6' etc.

If you set each track to a unique input channel, you can then arm them all simultaneously.

Hello Dan.

Could you put the channel numbers on the tracks? It will be very helpful.

And second problem in width on vst options. Can't see all data.
