most effective way to use loop recorded regions for comping

Post by treehugger »

Hello!
I‘m trying to figure out the most effective way to combine different parts from different regions that were loop recorded in one go.
Is there a faster way than bouncing out each region on a separate track and using those separate tracks for the puzzle? If this is the fastest way, is there an option to automatically copy all regions to dedicated tracks to skip the „select region - bounce - insert in new track“ process?
Thank you!

Hmm, unfortunately not, if I understand correctly you are using the Audio Browser to copy the unused bins and then paste onto tracks. Ideally, drag and drop would be helpful here. I'll think about this for an update, but it wouldn't help for batch processing of multiple clips though. Did I understand your workflow?

Another approach could be the ability to mark multiple bins directly in the audio browser for auditioning them all in a loop at the same time. So the puzzle could take part before actually inserting the final outcome from the bins into one track.
