List of background play compatible app with MultiTrack DAW

Hi,
I bought MultiTrack DAW this morning, and after GarageBand, NanoStudio, I'm looking for a isequencer who can play background when I play synthesizer like Animoog, iKaossilator, iMS20, ...
It's importante for me because I want play and record only with the iPad.

So, I start a list with isynth I have and work (or don't work) with MultiTrack play background, if you want continue, you are welcome.

But don't forget, I'm looking for some isynthetizer experience background with MultiTrack DAW or another sequencer ... And it's not easy to find !...!

just so I understand this post, are you guys saying you can have MultiTrack open and recording while you are still playing (via midi controller) your ipad versions of GargeBand or other apps mention running in the background?

No no no

Just I want play isynth on my iPad while MultiTrack playing my sequence in background on the same iPad. Because I have only one iPad to play ... No computer ... No instruments ... No cables ...

So I'm looking for isynth who can play like that with MT (or another sequencer).

If I can directly record, that will be better, but I think we have to wait some time again the iOS & apps evolution. For now, we can play and record by audio paste & copy, and it's what I'm looking for with the background play apps...

I understand. For me it would be most helpful to be able to play synths in a background app while recording in MultiTrack. All the audiocopy and paste or exporting and importing can be tricky sometimes plus time consuming.

Luckily for the time being I have access to another iPad so just connect via audio cable but I'd like a setup where I could do all that I want with one machine.

I tested some of my synths with MultiTrack DAW playing in the background and here's what I got. From your non-compatibile list, I confirmed that Animoog and Geo Synth don't work, and I didn't even bother testing the Korg apps. However, MorphWiz did work for me, so maybe it is something in your settings.
