precision editing

is there a way to cut and paste with precision? Like for instance, I want to cut at 0114. 4. 1 .1, but the marker won't let me go there...(hope you understand what I'm saying. Is there a way to do that perfectly? Thanks!

You can turn on Snap in the menu, then move the playhead to the exact spot you want to slice. Now open the hotbox very close to the playhead, and select Slice. The slice will be made right at the playhead.
