Low volume

Hello,

Problem: I am experience low volume levels when I record music into MultiTrack DAW

Setup: I am using the iPad 1 running Orphion app that is connected to the iPhone4 via the original iRig.

Best Ignorant Guess: The iRig is only for guitars and is not designed to carry the low impedance signal from the iPad.

Is it not best practice to play music on ipad and recored it on the iphone?

I assume you're using an adapter that connects the headphone output (stereo 1/8 mini) to the iRig input (1/4 mono)?
