Second behind

Post by Fatchance »

Is anyone having the problem of recorded tracks being a second behind other tracks? We recorded drums with 4 mics 2 dinamic mics and 2 condenser mics and it worked great. Then I recorded a guitar it was good but when I went to record a second guitar it sounded great when he was playing along but when I went to the play back he was a second behind everybody else. This happened with the vocals also. Anybody know why?

It sounds like the latency compensation was off for some reason. This can happen with iOS changing the buffer size, it can happen for strange reasons sometimes, like when switching to another app which changes the buffer size or maybe a background running process. Had you started any other apps when this happened, or stay in multitrack the whole time?

That is most likely the problem. I closed the few open apps and powered off the iPad. When I powered up again the problem went away. THANKS!!!
