FX not showing

I know how they should work. I have a iPod 3G but the button is just not there. I even deleted the app and reinstalled. Any ideas?

Fx will be there on iPod touch 3rd generation and later. Basically any device which has an arm7 processor or later, will have the effects. Devices like iPod touch 2nd generation and iPhone 3G and earlier, are arm6 devices, and run a different executable which doesn't include effects.
