Anyone tried Tascam iu2 interface? I'm having issues with it

I was using tascam ixz interface, but saw that they had come out with a new one with two inputs: the iu2. I bought that one so I could record with a stereo mic and the first time I tried it, it worked perfectly. I went back later to record some more and all I keep getting is a message box on my ipad2 saying "cannot use, this usb device not supported". But it did work once! Help!

Are you using an Apple camera connection kit? I've read elsewhere that a knock-off camera connection kit has been the culprit for problems with the iu2.

It might also be sensitive to the order in which things are connected and powered up.

That message box is an iPad iOS message which we have no control over (the interface gets disabled, so the MultiTrack software cannot access the interface after this message box comes up). You might try a reboot and see if that helps, if not a hard reset. Check for bad cable connections, plug and unplug things, and inferior Camera connector kits.

Has this been resolved? I am interested in purchasing a Tascam iu2, but hesitant if it is not compatible. Anyone have a definitive answer or workaround? Other suggestions.
