I think I found a bug... or two...

Post by Zoomer »

I think I found a bug in the latest version of MD: when monitoring I noticed high latency at 2.8 ms which didn't make sense. But if I toggled the latency up and then back down, things became normal again. Maybe the initial latency setting isn't taking?

I also had an incident where I erased track one in solo mode, and while re-recording it, somewhere in the middle, I heard track 2 bleed fairly loudly for a few seconds. Strange.

This was using a Tascam US-800 as my interface.

Thanks for the info. When opening a song the latency (buffer size) and bitrates are all reset into coreaudio again. But when switching to other (audio) apps, the other apps' may hijack the settings. So switching between certain other audio apps may have some latency consequences. Except, when MultiTrack is recording, the other apps wont be able to change anything though.

About the audible glitch, is it still doing that, or did it go away?
