Hot built in Mic

Post by notquiteaxl »

Before the update, I would occasionally experience the built in mic on my iPhone being too hot. This is the first time I've used the app since the update, and it's doing it again. Mind you, I've made several successful recordings on DAW, so I know how to use the faders, compression, etc. I was just wondering if, beyond that, I was missing something. Thanks in advance!

Try turning on "Measurement Mode" in the Settings app on your device (under MultiTrack DAW). This will give a lower level with a flatter frequency response, and the IN volume fader in MultiTrack will become a real hardware input gain control. It's off by default because people were complaining of too low of a level ;)
