What exactly do the number ticks in the scale at the top represent? Bars?
What do the different time displays indicate? I understand the hour/min/sec display but what are the other two showing?

Re: Time display explanation
0001. 4. 1.117
The first number is bars (0001), next is beats (4), then divisions (1), then ticks (117)
Bars is just the bar number in the song.
Beats is the beat number within the bar and will change depending on the numerator of the time signature.
Divisions depends on the denominator:
denominator of 8 has 2 divisions
denominator of 4 has 4 divisions
denominator of 2 has 8 divisions
Ticks is simply a number from 1 to 240

Hmm. That may be interesting from a sampling perspective I guess but not sure what practical use that is. Now Time Code...that would be useful. That makes me wonder whether time code is exported in a FCP audio track.
