Hi,
As far as I can tell, one is able to set iPad audio out to AirPlay speakers for most apps (Pandora, Spotify, etc.) using the iOS 6 output selector. However, the selector is absent when Multitrack DAW is active, and I can't figure out how to select AirPlay speakers as my output device for MT DAW. Am I doing anything wrong, or is this just not supported yet? I don't understand technically why this one app would be different from all the others. If it is not currently supported, could you please add this feature? Otherwise, it is not possible for me to listen to the output using my speakers.
TIA,
-Armen

Re: AirPlay Output
The original problem I was having was latency, the network streaming audio (and bluetooth audio) have massive amounts of latency and huge buffer sizes. MultiTrack was intended for realtime monitoring of the inputs direct to outputs, so was disabled. I'll look into a playback only mode.

Re: AirPlay Output
Thank you, that would be really great. I fully understand why the monitoring option is out of the question for wireless devices. But the playback-only use case is big for me, as that is the way I get to enjoy and tweak the mix in settings outside of my recording space, in more comfortable and typical listening settings such as my living room.
I noticed that mountain lion now supports AirPlay natively, as an output choice for all applications, via the system sound preference. I used to use airfoil, now that product is superfluous. Apple is thinking of AirPlay as just another output device, as they do with Bluetooth or any physically connected device. I think it makes a lot of sense.
Thanks again, I'm loving multitrack daw!
