Zoom H4n to iPad 3 (ios 6)

Hi, please help.
I am running ios 6 on iPad 3 and am trying dearly to get it to recognise my zoom h4n.
Obviously I am using the camera connection kit.
I have read varias post relating to this subject and everybody seems to have it sorted (mind you I have not read one where they are running ios6)
I have tried everything, I have tried powered USB hubs, non powered USB hubs and two different types of camera connection kit (generic and apple own brand), I have tried powering the zoom from the mains, from the batteries and just by plugging it into the iPad, but still no joy.
I have got multi track daw plus a load of other sound recording apps but it is not working on any of them and only uses the iPad internal mic.
I desperately need help with this.

I know this is old, but Im having the same issue. The difference is that it used to work on my ipad and now it doesn't. The only thing I can think of that has changed is I updated the firmware on my H4n to 1.72

Check your firmware and if you are running the same thing, I think something changed in the way it connects via USB.

Im trying desperately to troubleshoot this.
