Has anyone tested this unit? Configuration and I/O-wise it reminds me a lot of my MOTU 896, which I love. I can't get a real sense from the limited number of reviews out there, but if it works w/ MultiTrack, it's immediately one of the best interfaces available from a features standpoint if you want to record with a multi-mic setup, and especially if you want to add another preamp via ADAT. I discovered the unit because it was listed as working with a different iPad recording app.
Here's their site: http://www.phonic.com/en/firefly-808-universal.html
Thanks for the feedback!

If it works with any other app, then it will work with MultiTrack
Actually MultiTrack is more lenient than any other app with respect to USB hardware. In other words multitrack can handle almost any buffer size, samplerate, or bitrate.
What usually causes problems, though is having lots of apps running at the same time, as they all try to take control of the audio hardware. It's always good to close off (background kill) some of those extra apps before a session, and that includes the Music player app.
