while trying to figure out how to download the final mixdown of my first project to my PC via the Itunes file sharing option, i accidentally downloaded what appears to be a backup folder which contains:
folder: 'Bins'
file: 'Backup'
file: 'icon' (.png file)
file: 'icon@2x' (.png file)
file: 'project.look'
file: project'
file: 'Tracks2'
when i eventually figured out how to download the mixdown via the same-WiFi-network option, the result was an empty .wav file (as in, 0:00 seconds). when i opened the app on my iPad, the project (icon was still there, with the same name), the project was completely empty - all tracks were gone.
is there a way to restore my project? i paid for the app (and the +16 track upgrade), and my very first project got dumped.
tourettes outburst: resumed
downloaded from iPad > PC via WiFi, project disappeared

Re: downloaded from iPad > PC via WiFi, project disappeared
Apologies for the issue you had with project download. I've never seen or heard about this bug, it sounds like something went wrong with the project (missing tracks.plist file?). Was the device running out of filespace?
The good news is you can probably restore it. The folder you downloaded contains the entire project. First make sure your device has a lot of free space. Now, zip this project and upload the zip to multitrack through wifi (to the "Songs On MultiTrack" page). Or, drag the zipped project it into the iTunes Sharing Folder for MultiTrack.
Now in multitrack, tap the zip icon and it will be decompressed to a new project (it wont overwrite the old)
