Paste Track Clarification

Post by Gregmartin64 »

I'm importing a backing track I created with BIAB which is a stereo AIFF file ( though I can use WAV if needed ).

I click the + sign in MultiTrack for a new track and paste it in, but it pastes as a mono track, so I lose the instrument balancing. Is this correct? I sort of expected it to go in as stereo with two wave lines showing, so I'm thinking that it might be the file format?

Thanks.

Hmm. I haven't used that format so you might be on to something. Wav and Ogg coming in as stereo for me so far.

I've never used that format either. I'd try the .wav format; that should paste in stereo.
