uploading emailed track
how can I retrieve an emailed track from my laptop running Windows Vista?

The tracks are emailed as attachments so you should be able to "save as" to your hard drive.
If you are asking how to get that track back into Multitrack DAW then you could just email it back to your idevice.
Or get it into your iTunes library on the same device.
