Not specifically about MTD but........
Had a complete brain fit last night and spent thirteen quid on fruity loops HD.
I've no idea why I did it, other than being a tool, that is. Just because I'm an impatient bugger who would love the MIDI clock stuff to work in audio bus. Serves me right!
Not impressed at all. Terrible reverb and (i think) global effects.
Anyone else been as idiotic as me?

Re: Fruity Loops
Time to make lemonade I guess.
Aren't there any tools that FL has that you might benefit from? You know, something to break you out of a writing rut? Maybe a new way to make beats so they don't conform to your time tested formula.
You might be surprised, or you may just be right that it was a hyped tool that doesn't offer what you need.
I have too many iOS synths and not enough time to learn how to effectively create good patches. Now that I have Thor, I'm going to force myself to learn everything I can about it. Best to focus on one app and know it well, than to have many and know nothing. Alchemy is still evolving so soon I be ready to focus on that one.
Good luck man.
