Is there a way to join adjacent regions in the same track, or all of a track's regions?
I like to create an ADT effect by copying an entire track to the pasteboard and then to a new track, with a slight delay. Waste of a track, yes -- but works well, esp on vocals. When the original track is split into several regions -- often due to punch-ins -- this doesn't work so well.

Re: Joining Regions?
The only way I know to do this is to record a small region of total silence on another track. That recording should sit either before or after your vocal track in he overall timeline of the project. Next, tap/highlight all the regions of your vocal track AND the small region of silence you just recorded on another track. Then, copy all the highlighted regions from both tracks to a new track. It will now paste as one continuous region. I hope this makes sense.Tabbycat wrote:Is there a way to join adjacent regions in the same track, or all of a track's regions?

Re: Joining Regions?
That worked.
Only problem: new track was normalized, so won't match original track's level.
Guess I'll just copy again and replace the original track.

Re: Joining Regions?
Add some compression before copying the track. Hopefully that helps.
