Use with Signal Linki III and IPAD 4 (i0s 6.1)

I am trying to use Multi track DAW with The Signal Link USB Interface that was advertised to work with IPADs. The demo shows an IPAD 2 or 3 working fine. I have the Lightning to USB cable for the IPAD 4 and the electrical part of the interace seems to work fine including powering the phantom power on the two mikes. In fact it will record for a short amont of time and then I get an alarming message on IPAD " Your accessory device is not Recognized by IPAD" and then the APP hangs up. I tried using the same hardware with Garageband and it seems to work with Apple's software although I "sometimes" get the same alarming error message pop up.....but Garageband seems to keep running. Wonder if I have an incompatible accessory, wrong version of Multitrack DAW? or what. Also I can not seem to find a version number anywhere on the download which I did last week. Any suggestions out there? I found one help file where several USB devices have been found to work with the software, my device was not listed and it was not clear what version of IOS they worked with.

Hmm, I haven't tried that hardware. In general, it's probably a good idea to update the iOS to 'mature' versions (with the minor version updates). Right now it's 6.1.3, definitely go for that as the point updates are usually more stable. I can't promise that will fix the issues but give it a shot.
