Undeleted deleted files

My iPad Mini has just informed me that I only have 0.2GB left of my 5.0GB iCloud storage. In looking through my APP's I find it's MultiTrack DAW that is taking 4.3GB. Although I have about 30 songs (projects), I only have about 2 regions in each one (all songs about 3 minutes each). When I backup to a PC and inspect the song folders on the PC, I find there are between 10 and 20 sound files in the 'bins' folder (58 in one of them). It occurs to me that they are all the tracks (regions?) that I have previously deleted. They are all still there taking up memory. The deleted tracks (regions?) also have no identity. Each one is a very long number with a .wav at the end.

Questions:
1) Does anyone know as to why these deleted files still remain in memory?
2) How do we identify then as the names that were given to them no longer exist?

Apart from the above, I think that this is a terrific APP.

View the bins in the Bin Browser (Long-touch over a region, select Bins). In the "Song" tab, you should see a button called "Delete Unused Bins". Press that, and all the extra bins will be deleted.
