iOS 7, To update or not to update?

I just wanted to remind everyone to do a backup of your idevice(s) prior to updating to iOS7 to prevent any surprises such as losing user created data. I'm not saying you will experience this, but it's always a possibility with iOS updates on music creation apps.
I do a cloud backup every night, but in this case I plugged into my laptop and did an iTunes backup.

The developers of Audiobus are recommending that if you create music on an idevice you might want to wait. Yes wait, and wait for the reports to come in. And wait for the rest of the dev's to update their music apps as well. Espescially if you rely on your device for live use etc.

The biggest reason to wait is due to a bug that affects Audiobus. This has been reported by Audiobus, so they are very aware and are waiting for Apple to fix it. Whatever "it" is.

So far, most issues reported are minor though.

Updated to ios7 and now can't record in MultiTrack - no input signal from iPad mic or Apogee Jam Mic and Jam recognized in GarageBand though - Wow, big woop! Any ideas - I need my MultiTrack!

Thanks - all's good now. Weird that they tied the mic into a privacy setting. Cheers!

I've had several apps request access to the mic. Even apps that I wouldn't expect to use it.
