If no Automation, how about Per Region volume/pan?

I get the idea after reading several posts, that because you ( @pwnified) see this as a minimal app, you aren't interested in volume or pan automation in your app. If this is the case, is it possible to add a per region volume? (I would prefer a volume and pan automation, but this is the only other way I can see that you might consider). Thanks for listening!!

I've been thinking, and if the track count was increased from 48 to 64, we wouldn't need this, because we'd have enough tracks to put a single region on a track, letting us use full track control on that particular region, including using the volume controls and panning controls. We could then comp the tracks to a single track to get what we need. It would also (I'm absolutely sure) be easier to up the available track count than to add volume/pan automation.
